Current Services
Speech Language Pathology (SLP)
SLPs assess students who may have speech or language disorders. This involves administering standardized tests, informal assessments, and observations to evaluate students' speech production, language comprehension, social communication skills, and fluency.
Occupational Therapy (OT)
OTs assess students' fine motor skills, gross motor skills, visual-motor integration, sensory processing abilities, self-care skills (such as dressing, grooming, and feeding), and overall functional abilities. These assessments help OTs identify areas of strength and areas needing improvement.
Physiotherapy (PT)
PTs assess students' physical abilities, including strength, flexibility, balance, coordination, posture, and mobility. They evaluate factors that may impact a student's physical functioning within the school environment, such as the ability to participate in classroom activities, navigate the school environment, and engage in physical education or recreational activities.
Art Therapy
Art therapists play a significant role in supporting students' emotional expression, social development, and overall well-being through the use of creative arts modalities. Art therapy provides a safe and non-verbal outlet for expressing complex emotions associated with grief, such as sadness, anger, guilt, and confusion.
Case Management
Case manager typically serves as a central point of contact and support for students who require additional assistance or accommodations to succeed academically and socially.
